Katie and Courteney first met on the first day of 5th Grade at Pittsford Area Schools in 2006. They sat next to each other and now, 14 years later, they are still close friends. When Courteney announced to her family that she was engaged to Blake, they all asked "Have you told Katie yet?", when in fact, Katie was the first person to find out about the proposal. There is no one Courteney would rather have standing next to her on her wedding day, than Miss Katie Saunders. Keep an eye out at the reception, Katie will be giving a Maid of Honor speech!
Bryson Lansford

Bryson is Blake's younger brother. Blake did not feel right choosing any of his close friends or family to be his Best Man, as in his words, every person on his side deserves that title. So instead, Blake has opted to make everyone on his side a groomsman/groomswoman and has them in order of how long he has known them. As Bryson is Blake's brother, he has known him the longest (23 years). The brothers are close and have a love of picking on Courteney together.

Amanda and Courteney first met because their parents were getting married (Wohoo Vic and Michelle!) Now, they don't even see each other as step-siblings (I'm sure sharing a room during your formative teenage years may have had something to do with it!) Being Courteney's closest step-sister, Amanda was asked to be apart of her special day!
Cory Ford

Cory and Blake have known each other for 14 years. Up until early this year, Blake and Courteney actually shared an apartment with Cory, which even though comes with its challenges, ultimately helped grow the relationship Blake and Cory already had. Cory is the second in line of how long Blake has known each of his groomsmen.

Cousins who are almost like siblings! Ashley and Courteney spent almost every summer growing up at their grandparents house, playing from sunrise to sunset and just generally having a great time!
Serenity Billingsley

Serenity and Blake have known each other for 14 years. They first met in a geography class freshman year of high school, but didn’t become close friends until they decided to room together for college at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN. Even though Blake transferred out of Tech after 2 years, they've continued to be extremely close friends.

Another of Courteney's cousins! The same goes for Sasha, spending every summer together at their grandparents house made them grow close. Not to mention, they have a lot in common! Did I mention she’s the funny one?

Cody and Blake have known each other for 11 years and ever since they met, have been very close friends. Keep an eye out at the reception, Cody will be giving a speech about Blake!
Sarah Thomas

If we're being honest, Sarah was one of Courteney's first friends when she first moved to Tennessee. Not only that, Sarah (and her husband, our officiant, Eli Thomas) had a hand in getting Courteney and Blake together. It's a bit of a long story, but had it not been for Sarah and Eli, it may have taken a lot longer for Blake to ask Courteney out.
Kyle McDowell

Kyle is Courteney's younger brother and has known Blake for about 5 years. Thankfully for Courteney, Kyle DOES approve of Blake, and even though they haven't spent a lot of time together, have had some fun moments (Such as when Blake picked Kyle up and carried him around on his back while we were on vacation together).
Eli Thomas
Officiant
Eli was one of the first faces that both Courteney and Blake saw when they each started attending the Church at Pleasant Grove in Mt. Juliet. Eli helped push Blake into talking to Courteney, which eventually bloomed into what you see now. Eli has become one of the closest friends that both Courteney and Blake have known. Without thought when planning the wedding neither had any doubts that they wanted Eli to be the one officiating their wedding.
Travis and Karlee Hammond

Travis and Karlee are Courteney's cousins on her mom’s side. They are two sweet kids who like to have fun! They were entrusted to carry the rings and know how important their job is and are ready to fulfill their duties! Watch out for these two!
Julia and Adeline McDowell
Flower Girl
Julia and Adeline are Courteney's youngest cousins on her dad’s side. Both are shy, sweet, little, red heads, who like to dress up as Princesses in their free time (just like Courteney when she was younger!), Julia especially is excited to get to wear a princess dress and both girls have been practicing walking down the aisle in preparation for the wedding.
