Forest Chic / Outdoor Dressy Casual

Olympic National Park is stunning, but the weather can be unpredictable—even in July. One minute it’s sunny, the next it’s breezy and cool, especially near the coast or in the shade of the forest. We recommend dressing comfortably and for the outdoors. Sturdy shoes or boots are a must since trails can be uneven—definitely leave the heels at home. Layers will help keep you comfortable throughout the day, and a light jacket or sweater is a smart idea. Even in the forest, sunscreen and sunglasses might come in handy if we catch some sun or golden-hour glow. If you’d like to coordinate with the scenery (and the photos), we’d love for guests to lean into maroon, soft neutrals, earthy tones, or deep blues. These colors look beautiful in the natural Pacific Northwest setting and photograph like a dream. Think practical, comfortable, and a little woodsy chic.
