Alecia and Emounte met on Facebook Dating in February 2023 (thank you Mark Zuckerberg). Emounte had just moved to Atlanta 2 months prior after living in Miami his entire life. Alecia saw his profile and almost swiped left because the only thing he'd written about himself was "I'm an amazing person". Alecia thought this was a little grandiose and experts say that men who don't take the time to write about themselves are only after that thing, that thing, that thi-i-i-ing (like Lauren Hill said). But Alecia felt she didn't have much to lose by swiping right, so she did just that and made the first move. Emounte responded like a true gentleman with "Wow, you are a beautiful woman with an amazing smile" and asked if it would be OK to get to know her. Of course Alecia replied yes after thanking him for the compliment because he was both respectful and quite handsome. After exchanging a few pleasantries, and finding out that they were both from Florida, they immediately exchanged phone numbers. After 2 conversations, they met for lunch at the Olive Garden. After a few weeks of dating, Emounte was snatched off the market before he could even learn his way around the city. And the rest is history...
