Yes! Attire is semi-formal, spring colors- think light colors, bright colors, pastels, colorful. Girls think garden party, flowy, fairy like, ruffles, feathers. Guys think tan suit, grey suit, colorful suit. ABSOLUTELY NO WHITE, WHITE WITH FLOWERS, NO BEIGE OR SILVER- NOTHING THAT IS OR CAN BE PERCIEVED AS WHITE. Let's have the bride be the star in white. ABSOLUTELY NO SHORTS, FLIP FLOPS/THONGS, BLUE JEANS OR JEANS, NO SPORTS CLOTHES OR JESERYS. Please and thank you.
Please arrive to the venue by 3:30 pm- 3:45pm EST The ceremony will be starting PROMPTLY at 4 pm EST.
There will be 2, TWO, buses scheduled for wedding day transportation. We are providing 2 bus transportations to and from the wedding venue from The Inn at Harbor Shores Resort. The buses will leave promptly at 2:30 pm EST from the hotel. We request any guests driving themselves to arrive at the venue between 3:40pm - 3:55 pm EST. The ceremony will start PROMPTLY at 4 pm EST. We will have the buses come back for pick up from the venue to The Inn at Harbor Shores with departure PROMPTLY at 10 pm EST. As the venue is in the woods, finding Uber or Lyft, will be much harder. Please consider the buses for transport if you plan to drink at the wedding. If you miss the bus departure time, you will be in charge of your own transportation to the venue. If you wish to leave earlier, please plan accordingly. As the Bride and Groom will be keeping the party going until 11 pm.
We unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests. As much as we would love to share this day with everyone and everyone's family, only the guests listed on your invitation may attend.
While we love little ones, the venue does have limited capacity. We decided to keep the wedding ceremony and and reception an Adults Only event. The only exceptions to the rule have been notified. We hope you understand and encourage you to use this evening as a fun "date night" out for yourselves. Your children are welcome at the other events throughout the weekend. Please do make sure you have childcare or accommodations for the wedding day as your child(ren) CANNOT come to the ceremony and reception. Absolutely!! Please visit the "Travel" tab for details on reserving a room from one of our hotel blocks. There are limited rooms available, so be sure to book soon! We recommend that larger groups consider alternatives like AirBnb or Vrbo if they prefer or if the hotel blocks are full.
Yes, please inform the bride or groom of your specific concerns. Due to the bride's food allergies, there will be gluten free food provided, please inform the couple if you have other allergies.
There is! When you drive into the venue, there is a large grassy area that you can park on. There are a few handicap parking spots as well at the top of the lot, closest to the venue doors. The ground is a mostly flat dirt path from the top of the parking lot into the venue, and all one level inside.
