Please RSVP for the wedding ceremony and reception by June 1, 2022. However, if you want to attend tours with us, please RSVP for the bus tour by 3/20 and book your own tickets for the other events ASAP — view the RSVP and Tours sections for more details. Remember to note any allergies or dietary restrictions in your reply!
We mainly ask for church-appropriate attire (no flip-flops, shorts, tees, or anything too scandalous), but also something you’ll be comfortable in on the beach! In other words, smart casual, floral prints, linen, midi/maxi dresses, etc.
Absolutely! Please just make sure they are part of your RSVP, so we have an accurate headcount.
Yes! We have a block of rooms at a heavily discounted rate, through the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Alana Waikiki. See the Travel page for more information.
The distance between all locations will be walkable (1.5 miles; a pleasant 25-minute walk either along the beach or down the retail district). We will provide a free trolley ride from the church to the cocktail hour at the hotel (picking up promptly at 3:45pm) and from the cocktail hour to the reception (picking up promptly at 5:30pm). However, getting to the church for the ceremony and getting home from the reception will be your responsibility.
Thankfully, the State of Hawaii is enforcing stringent entry protocols. Currently, proof of vaccination is required to be exempt from the mandatory 5-day quarantine period. The requirements are constantly changing, so please check the website in advance of your travel to ensure that you have the necessary documents to enter Hawaii: https://www.gohawaii.com/travel-requirements. For everybody's safety, we ask that anyone exhibiting symptoms to please refrain from attending.
Since our reception will be held in a public park by the beach, we are prohibited from serving alcohol at dinner. However, there will be a cocktail hour beforehand at the Trees restaurant in the hotel, as well as several bars within walking distance of the cafe.
