What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal - for men, a tuxedo or suit with a dress shirt and tie. For women, floor-length gown or cocktail dress.

Is there a room block reserved for wedding guests?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved for our guests at the Hilton Providence Hotel. Please see the 'Accommodations & Travel' tab for further information. We will have a shuttle to and from the Hilton & the reception.

When should I book hotel reservations by?

To receive the discount, please book before July 2.

Are plus ones and children allowed?

Answer

Plus ones are specified on your invitation & RSVP. Children are welcome at the wedding Mass at St. Dominic Chapel, but unless specified on your invitation, we cannot accommodate children at the reception. Thanks for understanding!

How to get to St. Dominic Chapel?

Answer

Please arrange for your own transportation to & from the ceremony at St. Dominic Chapel on Providence College campus. If you are driving, please use this address: 212 Huxley Avenue, Providence, RI 02908. This will lead you to the Huxley Gate entrance. There will be a security guard and signs directing you to the parking lot. There are a limited number of handicapped parking spaces next to and diagonally across from the chapel. If you are ubering, please use this address: 215-219 Eaton St, Providence, RI 02908. This will bring you as close as you can get to chapel.

What time should I arrive at the Church?

Please arrive before 1:45PM. Mass will start at 2PM.

What time will the shuttle pick up and drop off for the reception?

Answer

Shuttles depart from the Hilton at 4:30PM to bring people to Hillside Country Club. Shuttles depart from Hillside Country Club at 10PM to bring people back to the Hilton.

How long is the drive from the Hilton to Hillside Country Club?

20-25 minutes

Can I drive to the reception?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Hillside Country Club for those who do not want to take the shuttle.

What is the best airport to use?

Answer

You can fly into either Boston Logan Airport (BOS) or Rhode Island T.F. Green (PVD). Flights into Boston are typically cheaper, and the commuter rail runs all the way to Providence (take the Silver Line from the airport to South Station in Boston where you can hop on the commuter rail to Providence)
