What does a Formal or Black Tie Optional Dress Code mean?

Answer

A black-tie optional dress code gives guests a couple of formal options to choose from. Men are requested to wear a tuxedo, but can opt for a dark suit. Women can choose either a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

Is this a kid-friendly wedding?

Answer

Though we’d love to see your children, we have decided to have an adults-only affair. We hope with this notice, you will be able to make respective arrangements.

How far is the airport?

Answer

If you're flying in from out of town, the best airport is the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW). It is a ~30 minute drive from the wedding venue or Westin Book Hotel (where we've booked the wedding block).
