When should I RSVP by?
Answer
August 13th, a month before the wedding! And no worries to those who can't make it, as much as we'd love to see all of you, we know everyone has busy lives. No offense taken if you have to sit this one out!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have a couple very small hotel blocks, though I expect they might get snatched up pretty quickly. If you're looking for something extra Toronto-y, there are a few fun hotels in the city like the Gladstone, the Drake, and the Chelsea hotel, but for cheaper options I recommend trying AirBnB! There are listings for under $200 a night in interesting neighborhoods. And beware-- the Toronto area is huge, so be sure to check where your hotel is located before booking, lest you find yourself trapped out by the airport.

Is there a registry?
Answer
We don't have a registry, and gifts are not expected! If you'd like to leave a card at the welcome table on the day of the wedding, you may feel free to do so, but honestly, your presence is gift enough to us.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
6 pm or a little earlier, in order to be seated for the brief ceremony. There will be programs available at the door so you have a schedule for the evening, but basically there will be a ceremony, a cocktail hour while dinner gets set up, then a big multi-course meal where everyone does their speeches, and then the party.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Vaguely semi-formal, and for those who want to get into the spirit of the season, elegant costumes will be permitted. So masquerade-esque attire is allowed! The color scheme is black and gold, but you're free to dress with as much color as you'd like.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Please do! The menu is all vegetarian, with a simplified version for picky eaters and a vegan and gluten free menu, as well. But please let us know if you have any allergies we should be aware of. To us, this event is all about the guests, so we want to make sure you have a good time and get enough to eat!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
For anyone who finds themselves in town a little early, we're having a Welcome Party at our place the night before the wedding. It's a very informal drop-in situation, but feel free to come by for finger foods and conversation-- everyone on the guest list is invited.
