Travel Note
Getting to Tobago
The only "direct" flights into Tobago from the United States is out of New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA), which still includes a layover in Port of Spain, Trinidad (POS). Therefore, we recommend our guests that are not coming from these destinations to fly into POS. There are direct flights into POS out of Houston, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, and Toronto. Any other city (such as Atlanta [the bride's hometown]) will require a connecting flight to POS. For guests that are hoping for easier travel, consider extending your vacation to fly out of JFK or MIA. For those who will fly into POS: To get to Tobago, guests will then take another small flight or ferry to Tobago. The ferry offers a more scenic route, with a duration estimated at two and a half to three hours. There are two sailings per day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The ferry rate is shown in tt (not dollars). The flight from Trinidad to Tobago is 25 minutes. As a note, travel may account for a full day for most of our guests, so please be mindful of this when planning your travel. Also make note of other requirements that may affect travel (e.g., going through Customs). Traveling with Others
We know that traveling alone internationally may not be ideal. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you want to be connected with others that you can potentially travel with in your area. It is our hope that some of our guests will be on the same flights.

Blue Haven Hotel
In regards to your stay on the island, we have reserved a limited amount of rooms at a discounted rate at the Blue Haven Hotel. Email reservations@bluehavenhotel.com to book your room with the discounted code, stating that you are attending Brittany and Kyle's wedding. This hotel provides guests with a beautiful ocean view and is in walking distance to the wedding venue. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can also feel free to walk to the beach or enjoy a game of tennis on their private tennis court. In order to receive the discount, you must book by March 30th.

Bacolet beach club is another nearby hotel, also in walking distance. With a restaurant, three pools, and a massage spa, this hotel is also the perfect stay for guests. NO CAMOUFLAGE
It is illegal to wear camouflage clothing in Trinidad and Tobago because it is associated with the military and paramilitary organizations. The government has prohibited civilians from wearing camouflage clothing as it is seen as a symbol of rebellion and can be used to intimidate or mislead others. Additionally, the government has also banned the sale of camouflage clothing in the country.
