Beartooth Scenic Byway - All American Road

The drive between Red Lodge, MT and Cody, WY is one of the most scenic in the country. Also known as the Beartooth Highway Loop and Beartooth Scenic Byway.

Red Lodge Mountain Golf Course

There is also the Stillwater Golf Course in Columbus, MT and a few other options for courses in Billings, MT.

This time of year the rivers will be pretty low - not likely any wild rapids. It can still be a fun float down the river to enjoy some scenery though! The leaves should be changing yellow around then. Also, pretty close to rutting season so possibly more moose/deer/elk on the move. Grizzly bears and black bears are also more active in the fall.
