Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We recommend arriving at the Baronette Renaissance by 1:45 pm to ensure you find the ceremony space and are seated before we start at 2. Cocktail hour begins at Planterra at 5 pm, with dinner at 6. You are welcome to arrive any time between 4:45 and 5:45, to ensure you can find your seat before dinner. Shuttle service will be continuous starting at 4:30.

Question

What about after the wedding?

Answer

Immediately after the reception? Who knows! The world is our oyster! Monday morning (10-12) we will also be hosting a brunch at the Baronette Renaissance for anyone who is still in town and wants to hang out some more before you leave!

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

If you are flying in to DTW, all wedding events and hotels are within 30 minutes. You can rent a car, or you can easily take an Uber or taxi to the hotel and then catch the shuttle to the reception. Even if you live nearby, you are welcome to park at the hotel (or take an Uber) and ride the shuttle to the reception - please don't drink and drive!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is enough of a gift for us! But if you are feeling particularly generous, we have put together a wishlist. We are registered here at Zola (click the "Registry" tab) and at Macy's.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The Baronette Renaissance has a block of rooms reserved at a rate of $129/night. Parking is free and the ceremony will be held on site. You MUST reserve through our wedding link (on the "Travel" page) for the block rate.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, of course! Remind us what it is when you RSVP.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ample free parking is available at the Baronette Renaissance and Planterra. Even if you live in the area, you are able to park at the hotel and ride the shuttle to the reception.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire is formal/cocktail.
