The Wedding Website of Sarah Bivens and Tim Heuer
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 30 at the latest so we can give a final count to our venue. If your plans change, let us know as soon as possible! If we don't hear from you by September 30, we will assume you are unable to attend. We will not be able to add any additional seats after September 30. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space restrictions and our reception being in a distillery, we cannot accommodate any youngins. Thank you for understanding, and we hope you are excited for a parents' night out!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

While we'd love to include the whole kit and caboodle, you may only bring a guest if your invitation explicitly lists a guest. Additional guests cannot be accommodated.

Question

Will there be transportation?

Answer

Yes! Please plan to get to and from the ceremony on your own. We will be running buses from each hotel to Journeyman Distillery as well as return runs at the end of the evening from Journeyman to both hotels. We will update times when they are finalized! Please note: From experience, we don't recommend banking on Uber or Lyft as options. Rumor has it there's only one Uber in the area and her name is Diana. While she's lovely and does drive a nice Subaru, it cannot accommodate all attendees!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the church no later than 1:15 p.m. CENTRAL TIME (preferably around 1!) Our ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. NOTE: The ceremony is in CENTRAL time and the reception is in EASTERN time. They are only about a 12 minute drive but you cross a state line and time zone border!

Question

What time should I arrive to the reception?

Answer

Our cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m. EASTERN time. Journeyman is also a restaurant and bar so you are more than welcome to pop over right after the ceremony to grab an appetizer. Meet us upstairs at 5 for the party! NOTE: The ceremony is in CENTRAL time and the reception is in EASTERN time. They are only about a 12 minute drive apart but you cross a state line and time zone border!

Question

Can we park at the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at both locations for those who wish to drive. Please visit the "travel" tab for more details on additional options.

Question

Why did you make it hard and pick places in different time zones?

Answer

We are asking ourselves the same thing, but we promise it's only a 12-minute drive between the church and distillery! Both are special places to us, so we couldn't pass up celebrating at both :) That said, PLEASE NOTE: The ceremony is in CENTRAL time and the reception is in EASTERN time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding attire is semi-formal/cocktail. We'd love to see everyone dressed up for the day, but don't break the bank!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are! While your presence is your greatest gift, if you would like to support us on this new adventure, you can find our registry via the "registry" tab at the top of this page and shop via Zola or Amazon.
