What is transportation like on the island?

Answer

The most common form of transportation is by Taxi. The whole length of the island is approximately 1.5 hours by cab. Public buses are also very popular, as are scooters, Twizys (electric nugget cars). Another option for people wanting to visit Hamilton is the ferry as well! The newest addition is Bermuda Hitch-- basically, Uber for Bermuda so download the app as a back up! Make sure you grab the cards of taxi drivers! Cabs are a little more difficult to get late at night (10 PM or later) as they all make their own hours instead of being employed by a large company! Don't fret! We have drivers who are anxiously awaiting our wedding to be here too! We will provide you a list of taxi cab driver phone numbers for you to use throughout your stay! It is also recommended you tell your favorite driver what times you will need them the day of the wedding and they will plan their hours around transporting you!

When is the best time to get deals on flights?

Honestly, just periodically check online! They change very frequently! Friends of ours have had good success with travel apps, which alert you to good rates or spontaneous deals. We encourage everyone to share with us their favorite travel app so we can update this section and pass the information along to our other guests! Another thing to consider— Bermuda is a HUGE cruise destination! Friends of ours have done cruises solely to Bermuda and found that it was another affordable option for traveling and lodging!
