Lots of fun stuff to do here! If you're looking for a particularly unique experience, this mall has its own Meow Wolf--something between an interactive art exhibit and a psychedelic movie set. We love the Round 1 arcade, too. How much we've spent on claw machines will remain undisclosed...
Charming, historic, and cozy. Lots of fun places to shop and eat!
A scenic, romantic riverwalk, just a stone's throw away from our venue! If you're looking for a place to walk off all the steakhouse eats, this is a great place for it.
This area and the one just down near the road--near H-mart--are chock full of fun places to eat and shop! We've been frequenting this area for the past few years now. It can be pretty crowded on the weekends, so keep that in mind if you're planning to make the 20ish minute drive up there. If you're looking for specific recommendations, reach out to us!
If you don't mind the drive, the Fort Worth Stockyards is the best place to experience Texas. From cowboy boots and line dancing to sizzling BBQ and live rodeos, it offers an authentic taste of cowboy culture. You can explore historic saloons, shop for Western gear, and even catch the daily cattle drive down Exchange Avenue—it's a fun, immersive way to step into the spirit of the Old West.
If you’re looking for a fun family outing while in town, the Fort Worth Zoo is one of the top-rated zoos in the country, home to over 7,000 animals and amazing exhibits like African Savanna, Asian Predators, and a world-class reptile house. It’s perfect for all ages, with extras like a splash park, train ride, and daily animal encounters—just a short drive from downtown Fort Worth!
If you’re looking for something fun to do in downtown Dallas, I highly recommend the Dallas World Aquarium! It’s not just an aquarium—there are monkeys, sloths, birds, and even a jaguar. You’ll walk through lush rainforest exhibits and underwater tunnels where sharks and rays swim right above you. It’s all indoors, so it’s a great option rain or shine, and perfect for families or anyone who loves animals.
