Do we have to stay on the island?
Answer
We recommend those in the wedding staying on island, otherwise it is entirely up to you! Our ceremony & cocktail reception will end while the ferry is still operating, so it could be a day trip for those of you who live close enough. If you do want to stay, check out the Travel tab where we outline our recommendations.

Yes! We are hoping to have an intimate wedding day surrounded by our closest friends and family. Please let us know either way.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, we’d love to see you dress up with us! We are requesting semi-formal attire. We want you to feel your best while you dress your best! Semi formal wedding attire sits at the sweet spot between understated dressy and elevated casual. Think: flowy dresses tea-length or longer, simple suit jackets. Our wedding parties will be dressed formally! Wear something snazzy, just no white or off white colored clothing. No jeans, please!

Will there be a bar?

Yes! Sail Camp Park permits beer & wine only. We will be providing alcohol as well as non-alcoholic beverages for guests to enjoy.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony?
Answer
We will not be providing transportation to Sailing Camp Park as there is no appropriate “pick up” spot that would work for everyone. The island is very drivable & there is ample parking at the venue if you choose to drive yourself and there are Ubers/Lyfts consistently available. We are serving open bar with beer & wine at Sailing Camp Park, so please plan ahead. However, we are working on getting transportation for everyone from Sailing Camp Park to The Ritz! We are expecting to Uber home later in the night as we will be having a few adult beverages! It is okay if you end up leaving your car at Sailing Camp Park overnight. It is a public park and we always recommend erring on the side of caution.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
We are planning on getting married outside (light) rain or shine! Our cocktail reception will be outdoors unless the weather calls for consistent rain.

Are there any colors guests should avoid wearing?
Answer
Yes, please do not wear colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride including white, ivory, cream or colors that photograph white.
