Stagecoach Inn

Originally opened 1860, Stagecoach Inn is a Texas landmark. Known by other names in the past – Salado Hotel and Shady Villa Hotel – it is as Stagecoach Inn that it is most well-known. As the 2nd oldest, continuously running inn or hotel in the state, travelers have parked their wagon, horse or vehicle at this iconic inn for over 160 years. This hotel is 5 minutes from the church and about 15 minutes from the reception venue. Please keep in mind that this historic hotel only has 48 rooms, so we recommend booking early to ensure availability!

The hotel is just 5–7 minutes from St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Salado, where our ceremony will take place, and approximately 15–20 minutes from our reception venue, making it an ideal home base for the wedding weekend.
