FAQs

Question

What is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 30th. If we haven't heard from you by then, we will contact you for a response.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation or RSVP portal are included. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our celebration will be primarily an adults-only event. A small number of children from our immediate family and wedding party have been specifically invited. If your child's name does not appear on your invitation or on the RSVP website, we kindly ask that they not attend. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. For men: suits or slacks and button downs are encouraged. For women: dresses or your Sunday best. We kindly ask that guests do not wear jeans, t-shirts, fishing shirts, etc., and that women do not wear black dresses. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, with professional photographers capturing the moment—please enjoy the experience device-free. Guests are welcome to take photos during the reception, but we kindly ask that you remain mindful of our photographers and their surroundings to help ensure beautiful, unobstructed shots.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception in two separate locations?

Answer

Yes. The sacrament of matrimony will take place in St. Stephen's Catholic Church (Salado, TX) and will immediately be followed by a reception at Cathedral Oaks Event Center (Belton, TX) to celebrate with family and friends. The church and venue are 15 minutes apart.

Question

How far is the ceremony location from the reception venue?

Answer

The ceremony and venue are about 15 minutes apart. If you are staying in one of the provided hotels, the church is 5 minutes away and the reception venue is 15 minutes away from your lodging.

Question

What time should we arrive to the church and venue?

Answer

Please arrive at the church by 3:30 pm. You will be able to head to the venue immediately after mass.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both are indoors, with the reception having a large outdoor area to mingle!

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes, there is a large parking lot available for both the church and the venue.

Question

Where is the best place to lodge in the area?

Answer

Please refer to the "Travel" page to book a room at one of the two closest hotels.
