Judy Mathew

Matron of Honor

Judy and I have been inseparable since our diaper days. We grew up a street away from each other, so if we didn’t see each other one day it was weird. Judy has always been my best friend and biggest bully. I vividly remember one night when we were kids, I had to use the restroom and Judy thought it would be hilarious to turn off the light and close the door on me. It wasn’t funny… Although she would occasionally bully me, I wouldn’t want it any other way. She’s always had my back and I’m so lucky to have had a wedding planning buddy through this whole experience.

Julie David

Matron of Honor

Julie, being the older chechi that she was, would always scold Judy and me growing up (in her defense I guess we deserved it). She was the oldest out of the four of us and I was the youngest, so we were never really that close growing up. But one summer that all changed. We spent hours a day together just driving around talking and cracking jokes. Every time I see her she jumps on me like a koala bear and gives me the biggest hug. Even though she lives across the country from me now, I know we’ll always keep in touch and that I can always count on her.

Jenna George

Bridesmaid

When I first met Jenna, she was this quiet, shy, timid little girl, little did I know she was actually this quirky girl with a crazy laugh. As her older chechi, I always thought she would be coming to me for advice, but I’m pretty sure I go to her more for advice on fashion and what’s “in” now. She always has my back and makes sure that I don’t embarrass myself with “old” slang. Even though she’s my little sister, I’m in constant awe of all her accomplishments and she will always be such an inspiration to me.

Sonia Tom

Bridesmaid

When Sonia and I met we were both so awkward with each other, which is so like us lol, but as time went on, we were able to spend more time with each other and hangout. We worked together for a few months (shout out to Family Eye Health Solutions!), which is where we got a lot closer. Sonia has a keen eye for fashion and a knack for interior decorating, so you better believe I’ll be calling you to help me decorate our house! I’m so excited to finally be getting a sister and to have someone else to make fun of Justin with!

Darshini Patel

Bridesmaid

Being the mom of the group, Darsh was, and still is, the one that takes care of us all. One year during finals while we were studying on campus, I was in much need of a break, so I started playing some music, instead of telling me to turn it off she told me to turn it up and we danced all our worries away. She’s constantly reminding me to unplug and live in the moment. Darsh is the type of person to be down to do anything for the people she loves. Luckily, I get to see her more often since she’s usually in Houston visiting her family, but if you see her around, convince here to move to move down south!!

Joanne John

Bridesmaid

Joanne and I go way back, we’ve been going to IMC for longer than I can remember. We’ve been in church choir, played basketball and volleyball for over 15 years (now retiring together), and has been a constant in both Binson and my life for years. She’s actually the one that first told me that Binson and I would look good together and I obviously said “ew never.” Joanne’s just one of those people that you can always count on no matter the time or the situation. She’s the goofiest, warm-hearted, most down-to-earth person I know and I’m so glad to have one of our closest friends up there with us.

Sincy Kurian

Bridesmaid

Sincy and I had been playing in martho tourney for years, but we never really knew each other until the summer before freshman year of college. We decided to be roomies and the rest is history. I still remember standing outside our dorm room fighting over who was going to walk in first because we heard our third roomie hysterically laughing and we were terrified (but we’ll come back to her later). Sincy was always that little part of home that I needed in NY. Even after college, I knew we’d still be close since she lived in Dallas, but she missed me so much that she moved all the way to Houston <3

Sarah Samuel

Bridesmaid

Meet the crazy roomie that Sincy and I were terrified of who turned into one of my best friends. Sarah’s just one of those people that you just know will brighten your day. After meeting her for the first time, I quickly learned how contagious her laugh was. If I’m ever having a bad day, I’ll usually get a knock on the door from an Uber driver with Starbucks. If y’all ever need suggestions on what to order from Starbucks hit her up, I’m pretty sure she’s a gold member or something. Even now, after 9 years, we still talk on the phone for hours almost everyday, and I can’t wait to keep up the tradition, don’t worry, Binson knows we’re a package deal.

Ancy Zacharia

Bridesmaid

Ancy had the opportunity of having the greatest roommate ever, but she decided that she didn’t want to room with me, but then got stuck being my suite mate anyway LOL. Being suite mates, we would always be in and out of each others rooms, where we would blast Bollywood music and have dance parties together. Ancy literally gives the best hugs, they so warm and cuddly, and I look forward to them every time I see her. Even though we’re all miles away from each other and life gets busy, I know that Ancy is just a phone call away.

Naiya Vakil

Bridesmaid

My fellow foodie who’s always introducing me to a variety of cheese and potato dishes. If we weren’t making food at the apartment, you would typically find Naiya and me lounging on the couch in our pajamas buried in blankets. Even if we were doing absolutely nothing, we would still have the most intriguing discussions. Naiya is a breath of fresh air; she has one of the biggest hearts I know. She has such a bubbly personality that just makes you want to smile everytime she’s around you. I’m so honored that she made me an honorary Gujju, I’ve already started nudging Binson towards all the yummy Gujju foods!

Mattson Thomas

Best Man

My “little” brother! Even though he’s physically larger than me, he’s always going to be my younger brother and the baby of the family. Even though I have known him all my life, I’m immensely proud of how much this guy has accomplished and how mature he has become for his age. His drive and consistency motivates me in life! From diaper days to being my Best Man, he’s always had my back and I cherish all the times we have together. So excited for what the future holds for him. Now enough with the sappy/nice comments, please remember to buy dog food for Rocky!

Bob John

Groomsman

I have known this guy since middle school! I still remember when he said his name was “Bob”, I didn’t believe him for one second, I thought he was messing with me as I was the new kid in town. We used to ride the same bus together, go to school, and then he would stay at my house everyday after school for his parents to pick him up. The amount of times I have beat him in 2k is insane and he still wants a rematch till today. From eating all my snacks at my parents’ house, to now eating all my snacks at my house, I just can’t get rid of this guy. All jokes aside, he’s seen me grow as a person from middle school to who I am now, and I’m grateful to share those memories with him. Side Note: If you see Bob wearing anything other than his famous red sweatpants, just know he was forced to for the good.

Ryan Rajan

Groomsman

RyRaj, I met Ryan in high school while walking down the hallway with Bob. This is when we were all the same height, but Ryan wanted to decide to grow like 8 inches one summer. He introduced himself (squeaky little voice, before he became a grown man) to us, and ever since then we have been brothers. Even though he’s younger than me, he got his drivers license before me and would be my ride in high school. He’s always been a person I can talk to for whatever reason, from helping me wedding plan to helping me pick that one sauce I always forget to get on the side while eating sushi. Been a pleasure to be on your side for your big day, now it’s your turn! Don’t worry, I’ll get a shirt that fits perfectly for that big chest of yours!

Justin Mathew

Groomsman

My brother-in-law to be! I actually met Justin and knew Justin before I met Jency. I can’t remember the first time I met him, but I do remember him giving me a ride to our church basketball summer league when I first moved to Houston. Ever since then, I have always kept in touch with him and nowadays we just talk about wedding planning as he’s getting ready for his! He’s always been supportive and a great helping hand whenever we need it. I know I can always count on him whenever, wherever. Justin, I know I’m stealing your sister, but let’s be real… I’m way cooler than her!

Restin Tom

Groomsman

Rusty! First time I saw this guy was in a class we had together, I really thought he was Hispanic till he said something in Malayalam. I was shook! He’s been my day 1 from Dallas and was my roommate my senior year in college. After we became roommates, I think that solidified our brotherhood! He’s been my personal barber all throughout college and has been the “Dad” of the roommates with his dad jokes. Proud of this guy for killing his goals in life. If anyone needs a Physical Therapist/ Barber in the Dallas area, hit him up! All jokes aside, he’s a man of many traits and my go-to person to annoy Jarlen!

Jarlen Jose

Groomsman

The man of many names. Sometimes he goes by Jar, sometimes he becomes jarmander and recently he’s been going by Chencho after our recent trip to PR. Whatever he decides his name is, he’s been my day one ever since I moved away from home and has been my brother ever since. He was also my roommate in college! From all our hoop seshs, wild nights, and just goofing around, I’m grateful for this fashionista in my life. To see you go from a bald fade to all these weird hairstyles you are rocking now, just know me and Restin are just supporting you so that we can see how the hairstyles look on a person! Don’t worry, I’ll always support you when you make fun of Restin!

Joel John

Groomsman

AKA Silkysmoothjoel, sensaijoel the life of the party! I have known Joel ever since I moved to Houston because we went to the same church. But it’s when I moved to Denton we became close. He took care of me from day one in Denton and became my roommate my senior year. Oh boy, the memories we have created, we will cherish forever! He’s always been like an older brother to me. Fun fact: He actually taught me how to make my first steak! Joel has always been a good time and I’m glad he’s going to be by my side!

Justin Varghese

Groomsman

There is ALOT of things I can say about this guy, a lot of stories, a lot of memories! But to keep it short, he’s another brother I have had ever since I moved to Houston. He’s always been that younger brother that wants to annoy me for fun. He’s probably one of the silliest guys I know. I can always count on this guy to make me laugh somehow. From hooping at church, to you moving to Denton for a semester, to great nights, and kicking it, let’s keep the ball rolling brotha! Just don’t fart when we’re all in line at church, please!

Shawn Mathew

Groomsman

Speedy, Splash Bro! From all our younger hooping days to now working at the same company, it’s been a ride! Shawn has seen me grow as a person from high school to now. We went to college our first year together and we took the same classes because he always wanted to hang with me. It’s crazy to think how grown we have come even though you don’t drink water and probably have a 2-liter bottle of soda somewhere in your room. It’s very rare of me to say someone can shoot a basketball better than me, but…this guy is up there and is very close. Always been a pleasure sharing the court with you and life in general my guy!
