What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire, purple and/or gold colors (if you do not have access to purple or gold color clothing, black and any shade of yellow will be accepted). Please refrain from wearing white clothing.

Will there also be a reception?

Answer

Yes, there is a reception, however it is a more intimate affair and thus only people who've been invited will be able to come.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The wedding venue will take place at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. It can be located to the east of I-95 off exit 21 along Sheridan Street and N 23rd Ave.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony no later than 9:45 AM. The ceremony will begin at 10 AM and the doors will be closed and locked at the beginning of the ceremony and will remain shut until the end of the ceremony so please respect the starting time.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

In regard to the bringing of a plus-one, please contact us at 754-210-4054 for confirmation.

What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please contact us so that we will be informed and let those serving the food know that you cannot be served certain dishes. The ingredients of all dishes will be displayed by each dish.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Children are welcomed at the wedding ceremony, BUT will NOT be welcomed at the wedding reception. For those bringing children at the wedding ceremony, please be mindful of your child and respectful of the ceremony. If your child is causing a distraction during the ceremony, the ushers WILL ask you to please step into the parish hall in order to quiet them down.
