One of Kim's favorite restaurants in the city - good for brunch or dinner their menu features a new take on American classics. If that doesn't sound like your vibe, you could also check out their sister restaurant around the corner Little Nonna's that features a classic Italian menu inspired by the owner's grandmothers cooking.
A short walk from the hotels and on the other side of Broad, Marathon is a casual, easy spot for lunch or dinner with a pretty large and diverse menu.
A Spingler family favorite + where Billy and Kim celebrated their 2 year anniversary! It's BYOB and the classic Italian meals (and intimate, unfussy atmosphere) can't be beat!
If you're in a treat yourself mood, check out Butcher and Singer one of the best steakhouses in the city.
We've watched many an Eagles win (and sadly a few losses) at this bar. A great spot to grab a beer and a quick bite to eat.
The oldest bar in Philadelphia and the spot every Philadelphian seems to end up in after a long night of bar hopping! Kim took Billy here one of the first times he came to visit and they continued to come back often during each of Billy's visits.
Located on the top floor of the Cambria (one of the hotels included in our room blocks!) this bar has great views of the city and a fun cocktail list.
Have you even visited Philly before if you haven't run up the Rocky steps? Billy and Kim have spent many a weekend drinking a coffee on the famous steps and checking out the Rocky Statue (and not much time in the actual museum).
Another Philly classic! The market has so many good spots for eating a quick meal or even just some fun snacks and sweets. A favorite of Kim's in the market is the Famous 4th Street Cookie Company.
A classic Philadelphia landmark (that you may or may not have already seen on a school field trip). If you choose to check this out, we also recommend grabbing a beer across the street at the Independence Beer Garden (if still open for the season).
