Billy and Kim first met through mutual friends at a party the summer after Billy had graduated from Marist. After going to college together, Billy and Kim never truly crossed paths in a memorable way. Quickly after they first met, they started to slowly get to know each other as there was a lot of NJ turnpike mileage in between them. After a few visits and special dates together (most memorably the Eagles Giants game at Met Life Stadium), they officially started dating.

The beach has always been a special place during the relationship of Billy and Kim. They’ve spent a few summers down the Jersey Shore with friends and taken trips every year to Ocean City, New Jersey with Kimberly's family. With family and friends in town, there was no better place or time for Billy to propose than in the sand of Ocean City, NJ. With help from family and friends, Billy asked and Kimberly said yes, and soon the rest will be history!
