FAQs

If you have any other questions that are not answered in this section, please reach out to Jocelyn at 860-237-7713 or Billy at 860-753-2643
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Garden Formal We are so excited to celebrate with you at our summer wedding! We encourage you to embrace the day with festive, elevated attire fit for a beautiful garden party. Please think lightweight, flowing fabrics, pastel shades, beautiful florals, or seasonal prints. For Women: Cocktail or floor-length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or elegant separates. For Men: Suits, ideally in lighter colors like tan, sage green, or blue, or a blazer with tailored trousers. A Note on Footwear for our Heel-Wearing Friends: Feel free to wear any shoe type you wish! Both the ceremony area (stamped concrete) and the indoor reception venue offer firm, heel-friendly surfaces. Choose the shoes that make you feel best, and be ready to dance!

Question

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please check the schedule page on this website for exact times. We recommend that guests arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the ceremony starts. This will give you ample time to park, find your seat, settle in, and prepare for the celebration to begin. Please note: if you show up late, you may be subject to waiting until the ceremony is over as not to ruin the flow of the ceremony and/or get in the way of planned shots by our photographer and videographer.

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to keep our wedding an adults-only event. To allow all our guests to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children at the ceremony or reception. We hope this advance notice means you are able to attend!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

NO! We are so excited to have you witness our wedding ceremony. Please turn off all phones and cameras, and keep them out of sight during the ceremony. We've hired wonderful professional photographers and videographers who will capture every moment, and we promise to share the photos with you! We don't want a cellphone to ruin a timeless memory or a once-in-a-lifetime shot, as this is a special event. We want you to be fully present with us. Once the cocktail hour begins, feel free to capture all the memories you want! We will have QR codes to help capture all your photos and store them in a shared album. Please also use the hashtag #HarringtonWedding2026 when sharing online!

Question

What if I have a dietary restriction or allergy?

Answer

We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions or allergies! Please clearly indicate your needs in the designated field when you fill out your RSVP via the formal invitation link. This is the best way for us to ensure your meal is prepared safely and correctly.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is provided on-site, and our venue staff will be directing vehicles as you arrive. We kindly ask that all guests arrive early (at least 15-20 minutes before the start time). For the safety and flow of the event, any late arrivals will be directed to an alternative parking area and may need to wait until the ceremony concludes before being escorted to the reception.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We are planning for our guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery! The ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by an indoor and outdoor cocktail hour. The reception will then take place indoors in the ballroom. (Please note: Should we have inclement weather, both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be moved inside the venue.)

Question

How do I RSVP and when should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP on Zola! There is a spot on the RSVP page where you fill out all your information. Please submit RSVP’s whether or not you’re attending by June 15th.
