This is the best example of local street art in the country. 10 blocks of freestyle art decorate the alley ways in downtown Denver, surrounded by local breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and boutiques. Rent a bike and take a tour of our city.
This is a train station that rivals the beauty of Grand Central Station in NYC. Built in 1881. Renovated in 2012 and reopened in 2014. Fantastic shops, hotel, and restaurants. If you are a foodie, you must check out The Mercantile: James Beard Award winning Chef Alex Seidel. You can take the train from Union Station directly to the Denver Airport, so convenient!
Being an avid gardener this is one of Tina's happy places.
Rent paddle boats and bikes at the location where we are getting married.
Sitting alongside Boulder Creek in Central Park, the Teahouse is considered one of Boulder’s most attractive and popular tourist attractions, as well as being a local favorite for great food, tea, and atmosphere. Completely built by hand without the use of any power tools, the Teahouse was constructed in Dushanbe, Tajikistan as a gift to their sister city, Boulder. It was disassembled, crated up, and sent halfway around the world to be rebuilt in Boulder as a symbol of friendship and cultural exploration. The elaborate and creative teahouse now sits as a reminder to the citizens of Boulder to value cultural diversity, global cooperation, and international friendship.
Margaret Tobin Brown was born to Irish immigrants John and Johanna Tobin in 1867 in Hannibal, Missouri. At the young age of 15 Margaret and her brother Daniel followed personal dreams and the national chain of migration to Leadville, Colorado. She was married by 19 and carried an interesting and adventurous life. She was one of the few to survive the sinking Titanic, which gave her the nick name, The Unsinkable Molly Brown. Her story is fascinating and her Denver home is well preserved. It is a really great tour & is only about two miles from the wedding venue.
Every musician dreams of performing at Red Rocks Amphitheater. For the hiking & stairmaster enthusiast...it's a real ass kicker, seriously your butt will hurt after a workout here. 360 degree views of absolute beauty and only 35 minutes from downtown Denver. If you have time for only one tourist type event this should be your top choice. There are hiking & mountain biking trails that surround the amphitheater and an adorable small mountain town, Morrison, to grab a bite & drinks.

This is such a beautiful park and area with many trails for hiking and biking. It is an easy 30-40 minute drive from Denver. One of the many reasons Bill & I love Colorado is the numerous adventures in this activity filled state. This park allows camping, it has Yurts to rent, old cabins to hike to, & amazing views of the continental divide. https://cpw.state.co.us/placestogo/parks/GoldenGateCanyon
Originally established in 1898 to bring culture to rural areas, this beautiful park hosts cultural events, features rock climbing sites, lovely gardens and picnic areas and is the starting point for many hiking trails. This park is about 45 minutes from Denver.
This is such a cute sleepy mountain town not far from Red Rocks and only a 40 minute drive from Denver. You can easily go for a hike at Red Rocks Park and then head over to downtown Evergreen and stroll the streets which are full of art galleries, cute shops and restaurants. We suggest going to Murphy's Mountain Grill and sit outside on their patio. It is nestled up next to a beautiful wooded area with a creek running next to the patio. There is also a golf course and a beautiful lake to run, walk or bike around.
