As many know, we met through work, at Evive. While we never crossed paths much, we struck up a conversation in early 2020 when Tressa was attempting to grow tulips in the office kitchen. Tressa, not having a green thumb at all, asked Bill for advice on where to best place the budding tulips, because why not?! It wasn't until covid hit the world and our office building closed in March 2020 that we reconnected. Bill, being the thoughtful gentleman he is, reached out to Tressa asking if she would like him to pick up the growing tulips from the office so she could have them at home. Bill delivered the tulips, and phone numbers were exchanged. After that, we checked in with each other nearly every day, growing our friendship which was a sweet surprise during such a crazy time. We both left Chicago to spend time with our families and get out of the city. When we both returned in July 2020 we had our first "date". From there, our bond grew stronger as we both thought "is this what I think it is?!" before calling it "official". In 2022 we moved in together, quickly followed by the addition of our pup 'Oslo' (the real test of our relationship). We are so happy and proud of the life we continue to build together...We cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family this fall!
