Question

When am I required to RSVP by?

Answer

We require RSVPs to be completed online by August 31st, 2026. If you do not RSVP by this date, you will not have a seat nor meal.

Question

Are children allowed at this event?

Answer

No, this wedding is child-free. We ask that each guest view our day as a date night and as a chance to be fully present with us in the moment.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

This ceremony aligns with garden-party/semi-formal attire. For woman, think light and flowing maxi or midi dresses. Imagine the Kentucky Derby, minus the extravagant hats. For men, think a lightweight suit or blazer. Let's leave the jeans at home, please. Fall evenings in Eastern Tennessee can be quite chilly, please plan accordingly.

Question

When does the wedding ceremony start?

Answer

Our wedding begins at 4:30PM. However, we ask that you arrive to the venue no later than 30-minutes before the ceremony to accommodate for parking and getting seated.

Question

What transportation services are available?

Answer

Ridesharing with companies such as Uber and Lyft are limited in the venue's area. Therefore, we are providing a shuttle service for guests staying at our hotel block in Alcoa, Tennessee. This shuttle service is exclusively for our out-of-town guests. Parking is available at the venue. The parking area is on grass, has a slight terrain aspect to it, and is a 15-minute walk from where the ceremony is. So, please plan accordingly. If you find yourself in a situation where you need help getting back to your accommodation, please let a member of the wedding party know.

Question

Are pictures allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

Photography is not allowed during the ceremony. We have hired an excellent photographer that will capture the moment for us. Guests are welcome to take any and all photos after the ceremony during the cocktail hour, reception, and afterparty.

Question

What should I do once I park at the venue?

Answer

Once you've parked your vehicle and have your dancing shoes ready, please follow the designated signage to the ceremony area. The ceremony starts at 4:30PM sharp. The parking area is a 15-minute walk from the ceremony. So, please be parked and walking to the event by 4:10PM. As tempting as it may be, please avoid straying from the path to the ceremony area at this time. Our vendors will be busy in the reception and cocktail hour area finishing last-minute details.
