Nahhhh. They require too much attention. Please find childcare for the Friday night ceremony and reception. Although we're not kid super-fans for the wedding and ceremony, we're also not horrible people, so if you need an exception to this "no kids" rule, just be in touch.
It's a wedding, you know what to wear! Class it up people. It might be more helpful for us to tell you what NOT to wear: White dresses. It's cement floor indoors but gravel outside so be mindful when it comes to shoes. That, and we'll be right on the water so it could get windy, and your shoulders might get chilly.
It's a mix of both! Ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (and on the bay - windy/sunny), and then dinner and dancing will be inside. Outdoor access will remain open all night. For fresh air, and cigarettes.
There is! However, if you are planning on having a "wedding" amount of drinks, please do not drive here. Please make your way to the venue, and we'll have shuttles leaving from the venue at the end of the night to take you to the afterparty bar or to the Kissel Hotel.
Of course not! No phones during the ceremony please - ideally stash them somewhere else. We've got professionals for this sort of thing. But we're open to any and all photography pre and post-ceremony, only under the condition that you share said photos with us... And for free. Otherwise we highly encourage putting your phone out of sight and reach for the night, because who gives a fig about your notifications.

Although we originally intended for shuttles from the Kissel Hotel TO the Venue on Friday afternoon, we are no longer doing that. We will still provide shuttles FROM the venue at 11pm, going both to the after party at Club Mallard, as well as going back to the Kissel Hotel, should you be partied out. Note that although the venue is easy to get to via Uber/Lyft, it will be harder for a car to pick you up from there - just a little off the beaten path. So even if you don't intend to join the afterparty or you aren't staying at the hotel, we strongly encourage getting on the shuttle to either destination, and then finding your way to your final destination from there.
