While we're not planning anything "official" we'd love to get some drinks with you! We'll be keeping our rehearsal dinner to family only, but there are young kiddos in said family, so that will be over relatively early and then we'll come join you hooligans for some drinks ~ around 8pm in downtown Oakland at First Edition Bar - we have the patio/patio bar reserved for guests. But let's keep it tame people, we have a wedding to attend the next day. Attire: Casual
3:15 pm - 4:00 pm
I know I know, we SAID we'd rent shuttles TO the event. But... we changed our minds. Please find your way TO the venue on Friday. We'll be providing shuttles at the end of the evening with an option back to the hotel, or, if you're feeling frisky (we hope you are), to the afterparty bar. From there you'll be able to call an Uber/Lyft at whatever time of the night you're ready to be tucked in.
4:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Join us for a view of the bay, and a wedding ceremony and celebration... Please arrive at 4pm for a 4:30 wedding ceremony. Cocktails, dinner, speeches, and dancing to follow. Attire: Cocktail Festive / Semi-Formal, but make it fun. Kids: Nahhhh. Please leave those little dinkles at home for Friday night.

WE won't be ready to call it quits (but the venue will) come 11pm when they kick us out, so let's keep the party going! We invite you all to join us, but no pressure. Realize that 11pm is already past some folks' bedtimes as is. Club Mallard on San Pablo Ave is the perfect pitstop in between the venue and the hotel, and we'll be there to enjoy some nightcaps if you fancy a nightcap, yourself. Shuttles will be leaving the venue at 11pm. Two shuttles will drive directly to Club Mallard while the third and final shuttle will drive straight to the Kissel Hotel - if you decide to forego said nightcap.
11:00 pm - 11:15 pm
We'll be renting shuttles to transport guests FROM the reception in Point Richmond TO the afterparty and/or back to the Kissel Hotel in Downtown Oakland. Note that although the venue is easy to get to via Uber/Lyft, it will be harder for a car to pick you up from there - just a little off the beaten path. So even if you don't intend to join the afterparty or you aren't staying at the hotel, we strongly encourage getting on the shuttle to either destination, and then finding your way to your final destination from there.
1:00 pm - 6:00 pm
That's right gang, Ava's brother and his wife have a pool. They'll kindly be hosting a backyard pool hang so that we can all be hungover together and revel in the night that we never wanted to end. That said, if you'd rather lay in a cold dark room with a bottle of Advil next to you, that's A-OK. Come if you feel like keeping the party going, or stop in and scoot out, but no pressure. We'll have drinks and tacos ready for you. Guests will be responsible for finding your way there, but uber/lyft or BART are always a good idea. Attire: Bathing suits or birthday suits. Bring a towel if you're a local! Kids: We ask that you kindly leave them at home for this. Too much splashing.
