Lincoln Park Zoo
Lincoln Park Zoo is just east of our reception venue and is free to the public! If you have some free time, go check out the Black Crowned Night Herons that nest above the Black Bear exhibit every spring.
Wrigley Field
For those arriving early, the Cubs play the Phillies on Thursday, April 23 at 1:20 PM.
Wendella Tours & Cruises
One of Chicago's classic architecture tours. A great way to see the city!
Beacon Doughnuts
Beacon is located in an alley off Armitage, just west of Halsted. It's a cool spot with great donuts.
Annette's Italian Ice
Located just off of Armitage, Annette's is a cash-only, seasonal spot with tons of ice cream flavors and homemade Italian Ice. On fair-weather weekends there can be long line, but it's worth it! Bill's go-to combo is Superman Ice Cream with Watermelon Italian Ice, and Anna's is Passionfruit-Red Raspberry & Pomegranate Italian Ice.
Off Color Brewing Taproom, The Mousetrap
Off-Color Brewing is located on the west side of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. You can almost always find a seat, and they have fun a lot of cool beers and cocktails. Thursdays - Saturday evenings they have arguably the best pizza in the city from Five Squared Pizza.
Red Hot Ranch
A casual spot in the Lakeview neighborhood with Bill's favorite burger in Chicago.
