The venue and nearby hotels are not inside the city. Any sites to see or experience are likely within city limits. Best advice is to plan for extra traffic, and remember that just because it says 5miles away, does not mean it will be a quick trip!
Duquesne Incline
Beautiful views. Not designed for folks with a fear of heights. You can take the incline from the bottom up to the top for a view, then back down again to your vehicle. If you don't want to ride the incline, you can drive up to the overlook and skip the ride.
Strip District
Lots of shops and goodies to pick up on this walk. Favorite restaurant for breakfast (tiny and may have a wait-time) is Kelly O's. Other spots for a good drink: Wigle Whiskey, Kingfly Spirits, Cinderlands. The original Primanti Brothers location is also here.
