The Honolulu Elks Lodge (2933 Kalākaua Ave, Honolulu, HI 96815) is less than 2 miles from Waikiki Beach and we suggest taking a rideshare to the venue as there is limited parking (only 15 parking spots are guaranteed for our guests). For those who plan on driving, please see valet attendant upon arrival.
Guest are welcomed into the ceremony area at 4:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30 p.m. on the upstairs lanai/patio of the Elks Lodge banquet room overlooking the ocean. Unfortunately, our venue limits ceremony seating to 40 chairs. As a result, we request that the first 3 rows be reserved for our immediate family members. Standing area will be immediately behind the chairs on each side of the aisle.
Reception will be held inside the Elks Lodge banquet room following cocktail hour.
In terms of attire, our wedding ceremony is outside and the reception is indoor; please dress for weather and comfort. Suggested attire is tropical/beach chic, e.g. collared shirts (including short sleeve and Hawaiian), khakis or slacks, cocktail or sundress. Flip flops are welcomed. As a note for those who like to wear dresses, Hawaii is windy. There’s a high likelihood you’ll flash people if you wear a shorter flowy dress/skirt; you do you, but just something to be mindful of when packing.
Honolulu in May averages daily high temperatures from 82°F to 84°F and Daily low, from 71°F to 73°F. It will be warm so don't forget your sunglasses and sunscreen!
There is NO smoking on Elks premises whatsoever - this includes out front or in the parking lot! However, you may smoke on the public sidewalk in front of the Lodge. Please be respectful and do not litter your cig butts. This is very important and we cannot stress this enough.
