Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a formal affair. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies can opt for a floor-length gown or formal cocktail dress. Please do not wear white.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your children, we look forward to celebrating with YOU! Our wedding will be adults only. Kick your shoes off and enjoy a relaxing kid-free evening with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What happens if I don’t RSVP?

Answer

If we do not get an RSVP back by the date which we provided, it will be marked as a “No”. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue in a timely manner. Due to this, we cannot accept late RSVPs. We hope that you understand!

What if I can’t make it?

Answer

Your presence will surely be missed. Please RSVP “No, sorry to miss it!”. If you have RSVP’d attending, but find out that you can no longer make it, please notify Emily at (860) 897-8501.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 5:30 pm. We recommend you arrive by 5 pm to ensure you are seated on time.

Is there transportation provided to/from the venue?

Answer

There will be transportation provided for hotel guests staying at the Inn at Middletown. The shuttle will pick hotel guests up no later than 4:30 pm to transport guests to the ceremony. The reception will end promptly at 11:00 pm and there will be transportation provided back to the hotel for the bridal party and hotel guests.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on a tented patio outside. Cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us but the hangover is on you…get ready to celebrate!

Is there an after-party?

Answer

There will be an after-party immediately following the reception at the Inn at Middletown’s Tavern at the Armory with a cash bar.

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

For guests driving themselves, there is plenty of parking available at the venue.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Rooms in our hotel block at the Inn at Middletown are available to be booked and are first come first serve. The deadline to book your room in our room block is July 1st.
