How is Covid-19 affecting the wedding plans?

Answer

At this point, New Jersey is back to normal. We are moving forward with no Covid restrictions. We understand if guests choose to still wear masks or be socially distanced. If you are unsure of your comfort level with attending, please reach out to us to see what we can accommodate.

Do you have a recommendation for a hotel near the venue?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at a hotel 10 minutes away from the venue. Please see our "Travel" section for more details, including how to book a room.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside, weather permitting. October in New Jersey is beautiful, but fluctuates in temperature. Please bring a sweater or jacket. The reception will be held inside the ballroom.

Do I need transportation to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

For those who are staying at the Hyatt House Morristown, we have arranged a shuttle to transport guests to and from the venue. This will be of no charge to guests and we will discuss the exact times when it gets closer.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a semi-formal event. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater for the outdoor ceremony. You may also consider a pair of comfortable shoes for dancing!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please make sure to arrive by 5:00pm!

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! If you will not be taking the pre-arranged shuttle, then you may park on site. The venue is a Country Club, so parking should be convenient.

We’ve never been to NJ/NY. What do we do?

Answer

Please see our “Things to do” section. If you have never been to NYC and have time to go, we definitely recommend it! You will probably want to stay at the Hyatt House Morristown for the wedding and then switch hotels. When going to NYC, we recommend finding a hotel in the city so you don’t have to travel back and forth each night.
