Chris always seemed like that handsome, cool, popular guy at work. We’d pass by each other briefly and hope the other person would strike up a quick conversation. There was the innocent time that he told me my lunch box was cute. There was the time on Halloween when I walked in with a tray of brownies and saw Chris there. I took that opportunity to ask him why the heck he was dressed up like an 80’s aerobic dancer... mullet and all. There was the time when I dropped my strawberry into the chocolate fondue pot and he had to fish it out for me. It was all of the tiny moments that I loved. The moments when I didn’t even care what we were talking about, as long as we were talking with each other. We now have little moments like this everyday and they add up to mean so much. -Abbe
Ever since the first time we hung out outside of work, it was obvious there was something special there. We tried to take it slow, telling ourselves there was no need to rush. But, there was no stopping what had been building up between us. We have texted every single day, all day without fail, ever since that first time we saw each other outside of work. And now, we miss each other even when the other one leaves the room. (I'm not exaggerating). I never imagined wanting to be around someone every single second of every single day (again, not exaggerating). But I do now, and I cannot imagine a life without each other. --Chris
