Wedding venue map

Click the "View" button to see a map of where to park and where to catch the shuttle to the wedding venue. Park in the Balboa Park/Organ Pavillion Parking Lot. There will be a sign for the shuttle for the Bica/Wiltshire wedding. The shuttle will also take you back to the parking lot after the wedding.

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

San Diego International Airport is conveniently located 5 miles from the venue.

Flight

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

International guests will most likely find that their best option is to fly into LAX. From LAX you can catch a train to San Diego (see next card), take a connecting flight, or drive (driving can take anywhere from 2 to 3.5 hours).

Train

Pacific Surfliner

One option to get from LAX (or Los Angeles in general) to San Diego is to take the train. From LAX take the FlyAway bus to Union Station then take the scenic Pacific Surfliner train to San Diego. The train ride is about 2.5-3 hours.

Hotel

Accommodation

There is a multitude of hotels to choose from near the wedding venue. Convenient locations near Balboa Park are Downtown (including Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy) or Mission Valley. If you want to be near the beach, consider La Jolla, Coronado or Mission Beach/Bay.

Getting around San Diego

While there are buses and light rail in San Diego, it's often more convenient to take a taxi or hire car. Lyft can be a cheaper alternative to Uber.
