Q & A

The Wedding Website of Melanie Biason and Cody Ruff
If you have any other questions that are not listed please reach out to Mel (908)-507-2818
Question

Do I need to book a hotel?

Answer

You are welcome to book a hotel but, we will be assigning each guest to a cabin or a room onsite. You will need to bring your own linens such as: Pillows, sheets, blankets, and towels. If you are traveling from out of state and this will be impossible to fly with linens please let Cody or Mel know and we will bring some extras.

Question

Do I need to reserve a room or cabin?

Answer

No. We will be assigning cabins and rooms to our guests. We will let you know whether you will be staying in a room or cabin prior to the wedding. If you have not been told you have a room, assume you will be staying in a group cabin.

Question

Can I bring a space heater?

Answer

No.

Question

What will the sleeping arrangements be like?

Answer

It will be just like summer camp. When you arrive you will receive your cabin assignment. The cabins will have twin bunk beds. You will get to pick your bed upon arrival. You will need to bring your own bedding such as pillow, sheets, blankets, and towels.

Question

Do I need to bring food?

Answer

Meals will be provided as listed in the schedule. You are welcome to bring snacks or anything else you think you will need. Water, coffee, and tea will be available, but I would bring soft drinks for yourself if you prefer sodas.

Question

Alcohol?

Answer

Friday night and Saturday day will be BYOB. We will have an open bar for the wedding reception.

Question

What do I Pack?

Answer

Comfy clothes, athletic clothing, bathing suit, and your outfit for the wedding theme - thrift store prom(please see the "attire" page). I would recommend bring sneakers and flipflops/sandals.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We would prefer our wedding weekend to be an adults-only event. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off! If child care would limit your attendance to our wedding please reach out. Although our wedding is at a summer camp, the weekend will not be kid friendly.

Question

Will there be WiFi?

Answer

Nope.
