These are some questions that have been asked already, if you need to know anything else just pop us a message.
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

At 14:00 We recommend that you arrive at 14:00 for 14:15pm to enjoy a drink with the groom before the ceremony. The ceremony will begin at 15:00pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal. Men: Please wear a suit, tie optional. No tuxedos. No jeans or open-toed shoes. Ladies: A tea or floor length dresses. Please refrain from wearing white or ivory. Don't be afraid to experiment with colours, patterns, frills and statement pieces. For guests choosing to wear heels, opt for block heels or stilettos with heel protectors as the wedding will be outdoors. PS: Bring sneakers to change into when it's time to dance!

Will there be drinks?

Answer

There will be a cash bar. Card only. We will be offering a set menu for cocktail hour and there will be a cash bar. Soft drinks available for those not partaking. Only card facilities available. No cash sales.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue, Au d 'Hex Estate, Wellington. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be taking place outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will take place in the glass house (indoors).

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to have our wedding be an adult-only occasion. *The only exception are the children in our bridal party, who will be leaving when the party gets started.* We appreciate you making arrangements to leave the kids at home and hope the advance notice means you are still able to attend.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Although we would love to offer a plus one to all our guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our budget and venue restrictions. Invitations are by name only. We appreciate your understanding and cannot wait to celebrate with you!

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

The presence of our friends and family is the greatest gift of all. However, if it is your wish to bless us with a gift, we would greatly appreciate a monetary contribution towards our future together. We know some may prefer the tradition of gift-giving, and we would appreciate anything you choose to give. However, Nick and I already have a home set up overseas and therefore it is challenging to take any physical gifts over with us. We are incredibly grateful for your love and support as we begin our life together. Instead of traditional gifts, we would appreciate contributions towards our dream honeymoon, home improvements or future plans. Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue has secure off street parking. However, we do encourage you to arrange a car service to avoid drinking and driving.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you enjoy the ceremony with us and leave your cameras/ cellphones in your purse or pockets. We have hired very talented photographers who will capture every detail of the wedding and we will of course share those with you! After the ceremony, we would love for you to help capture our special day and encourage you to snap away!
