Travel
As many of our guests will be coming from abroad, we’ve put together some helpful travel information.
To enter the UK you will need a valid passport and an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA - you can apply for it from this link: https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply)
The wedding will be in Glasgow (Scotland).
✈️ Glasgow Airports
a) Glasgow International Airport (GLA) – the closest airport. Good connections via London.
b) Glasgow Prestwick Airport (PIK) – low-cost airlines and selected European routes.
✈️ Edinburgh Airport (EDI)
Good option as it offers more flight choices. It is about 1 hour by bus from Glasgow.
✈️ Travelling via London
Especially for those travelling from Brazil, London may be the easiest option.
From there you can travel to Glasgow by flight (about 1 hour), by train (about 5 hours) or by bus (about 9 hours).
If you’d like to extend your trip, we recommend to visit London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and the beautiful Scottish countryside.
