What's the weather like in Glasgow during the summer?

In Glasgow, summer weather (June – August) is generally mild and changeable. Here’s what to expect: 🌤️ Temperatures: Daytime highs: 16 – 19 °C - Night‑time lows: usually 9 – 11 °C - Rain is common, humidity is generally quite high - You can expect a mix of sunshine and cloud. Long daylight hours (up to ~17 – 18 h). 🌦️ What It Feels Like - The overall vibe is mild rather than hot, the summer rarely feels sweltering. Note: The rain is part of the experience, so layering and a light waterproof jacket are wise even in summer.

Yes. Both the dinner menu and the evening breakfast roll buffet can accommodate special dietary requirements. Please let us know in advance so we can make sure everyone is well looked after.

Do I need to choose my dinner menu in advance?

Answer

Yes. We kindly ask guests to let us know their menu choice at least 45 days in advance. The menu includes one starter option, two main course options, and one dessert option. If we do not receive your selection by this date, a menu will be chosen for you.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, there is parking available in front of the Hotel Number 10 (on the street), and in the streets around the church.

No, there is not any special dress code. Think summer garden party – light, colourful, and comfortable.

Is there any public transport to reach the wedding venues?

Answer

The wedding venues (both the church and the location of the reception) are in the Southside of Glasgow and can be reached either by bus or by train. For those travelling from abroad, please contact us privately for more information.
