FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

By June 7, 2026--2 months prior to our wedding date!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony start time is at 5pm, please aim to arrive by 4:30pm.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Summer cocktail attire--dress to impress (think garden party or Italian countryside)! It may be a little warm at the start of the ceremony but should cool down quickly as the sun goes down. Consider wearing light weight fabrics (linen, satin, silk) for optimal comfort.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Usually the more the merrier but to stay on budget, we can only accommodate plus ones if they are listed on your invitation.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" section if you are interested in our hotel block at Hotel Solea in Carlsbad for our wedding weekend. You are always welcome to find other hotels or AirBnb's in the area, especially if you wish to be close to the ocean vs. closer to the venue which is about 30 minutes inland from the coast!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, plenty of parking at the venue--no road rage here!

Question

Will this be an unplugged ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Our hope is that our guests will get to sit back and soak in the moment with us without the distractions of having phones out. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our wedding, and we will be excited to share those photos with you.

Question

What is the expected weather?

Answer

August in Southern California will still be warm, but the temperature cools down quickly as the sun sets. Average highs are in the 80-90F range, and we can expect it to drop to the 70s during the reception.
