Frequently asked questions...
Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 PM. Please refer to the "Guest Itinerary" tab for more details.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The ceremony and reception is Black-Tie Optional; floor length gowns, tuxedos and bowtie, dark colored suits and ties (black, dark grey, or navy). Please avoid wearing light colored suits or light fabrics such as linen or cotton. Please refer to the Pinterest board if you need some ideas! https://pin.it/5AorjXasg This is your time to show off! We encourage floor length gowns in all different fall colors, textures, and patterns. Nothing is too much so have fun with accessories! We also suggest that ladies plan to pack a shawl or scarf for the evening as the temperature will drop down at night and weather permitting this will be an outdoor event. It is also recommended for anyone wearing heels to pack a platform style or with a thicker heel, the villa does have some uneven ground and mixed terrain. The rehearsal and welcome dinner on 10/24/2025 will be formal cocktail attire. Men, suits and ties are encouraged or suit jacket and dress shirt! Ladies, ankle length, tea length, or midi dresses are great, feel free to have fun with your look. https://pin.it/5Z4DlQnrI

Question

What weather should I expect?

Answer

October sees pleasant weather with a few more sunny days being traded in for cloudy, rainy ones. Temperatures across the Tuscany region run between 52-72°F and the Tyrrhenian Sea remains relatively warm until mid-October (70°F/21°C). Temperatures at night will dip down so plan to pack a shawl or scarf to wear over your shoulders!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors our outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will take place outdoors. In the chance of rain, we will move indoors. There will be staff present on the day to direct all guests.

Question

What should I expect after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, guests will be escorted to an extended cocktail hour, followed by an al fresco dining experience under the tuscan stars. Then we will dance the night away!

Question

How do I RSVP? What's the deadline?

Answer

Please RSVP via our Zola website by June 30th. Here's the link if you haven't RSVP'd already: https://www.zola.com/wedding/biancaandalexoctober25/rsvp

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Accommodations are being provided by the couple. All guests will be assigned a room upon checking into the Villa on 10/23/2025.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love the little ones that are in our lives, this is an adult only event. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy some alone time under the tuscan sun!

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be arrival drinks and snacks upon check in at the villa on 10/23. On 10/24 we will have group activities during the day and the evening will be the rehearsal dinner. Then, on 10/26/25 there will be a farewell brunch for everyone! Please refer to the "Guest Itinerary" tab for a detailed schedule of events.

Question

What type of food and drink will be served at cocktail and reception? What's the best way to communicate my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please list out your dietary restrictions via the RSVP form. Villa Pozzolo is dedicated to accommodating all allergies and dietary restrictions for your entire stay!

Question

What do I need when traveling from America to Italy?

Answer

When traveling from America to Italy in 2025, you will need a valid passport and a pre-travel authorization called ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) as it is expected to be mandatory for US citizens entering the Schengen Area, including Italy, starting mid-2025. Essentially, you will need to apply online for this authorization before your trip. Here's the link for more information + how to apply for EITAS: https://etias.com/what-is-etias

Question

Can I take and post pictures on social media?

Answer

The ceremony will be completely unplugged and kindly ask that phones are put away and no pictures are taken. We want you to be present in the moment and we have an incredible team of videographers and a photographer to capture everything.

Question

What health and safety measures are you taking?

Answer

We will be staying up to date and checking for required or recommended vaccinations for Europe/Italy and we will stay updated on any travel health advisories before traveling. As the date approaches we just ask that all guests keep an eye on your health and how you are feeling, we will all be staying in one villa in close quarters so being mindful of the health of others around us is appreciated!
