The trail offers stunning views and leads to the impressive 365-foot waterfall, making it a rewarding adventure for those up for a bit of a challenge. It’s located just outside of Telluride, and the trailhead can be accessed via the Bridal Veil Falls Road off of County Road 361. Keep in mind, it’s a scenic, unpaved road that requires a vehicle with good clearance. You can also start the hike from the town of Telluride, as it’s a short drive or a longer hike from there.

Start in Downtown Telluride – Head to the end of East Columbia Avenue. The trailhead is located at the end of this street, near the Bear Creek Picnic Area. Parking – You can park in the small lot near the trailhead, or if it’s full, street parking is available along East Columbia Avenue. Be sure to follow parking signs as it can get crowded during peak times. Trail Access – The trail starts at the picnic area and follows the Bear Creek Canyon. It’s well-marked, so you’ll be able to follow it easily.
