Five years ago, we were brought together by none other than a dating app. But in a way neither of us could have predicted. From the moment we met, we both knew we had found something incredibly special. From Kevin bringing Jeni's Ice Cream on a train from Chicago in a lunch box of ice and then was literally running to catch his train because time flew (which still makes us laugh), we knew there was something more between us. We were already inseparable. Over the years, we’ve built an incredible life together, full of laughter, love, and adventure. We’ve explored parts of the world side by side—hiking through breathtaking mountains (not always as picture perfect as it appears - there is some complaining..), discovering new places, and learning to embrace each other’s hobbies. We’ve traveled to places we never imagined, and even spent nights camping under the stars in national parks that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. From the first moment we met, through all the adventures and challenges life has thrown our way, we’ve laughed until we cried and grown together in ways we never thought possible. But through it all, one thing has remained constant: we are each other’s best friend, and there is no one else we’d rather spend our life with. We’re getting married not only because we are in love, but because we’ve built a beautiful, unbreakable bond. Whether we’re climbing mountains or curled up on the couch eating Crumbl cookies (because Maddy's main source of carbohydrates is sugar) and binging our favorite shows, we know that we’re exactly where we’re meant to be.
