The wedding mass will start promptly at 2:00pm; please plan to arrive and be seated no later than 1:45pm

Question

Will parking be available?

Answer

St. Andrews has free, on-site parking accessible via La Grave Ave SE. Cascade Hills Country Club will have valet parking available for all guests.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-Formal

Question

Will children be invited to attend the wedding?

Answer

In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation, we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult-only occasion. We can only accommodate children of immediate family, who have received an invitation addressed directly to them.

Question

How does a Catholic wedding work?

Answer

All guests are welcome at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, and we are excited to celebrate this next step in our lives and in our faith with you! A program will be provided so that guests can follow along with the Catholic wedding liturgy. Only practicing Catholics may receive the Eucharist during Communion, but we invite all guests to come forward and cross their arms over their chest if they would like to receive a blessing from our officiant, Father Len.

Question

What should we do after the wedding mass?

Answer

After the ceremony has concluded, please gather in the courtyard outside of the Cathedral to congratulate the newlyweds as they exit as husband and wife for the first time. Afterwards, feel free to return to your hotel to freshen up before the reception or check out the "Thing to Do" tab for activities in the Grand Rapids area.
