Question

How should I transport myself to and from the wedding?

Answer

Option 1: You may drive, and parking will be available onsite. We have a valet team who will park your car and retrieve it for you when you are ready to depart. In the event that you are unable to drive home at the end of the evening, we have hired a driver who will be able to return you safely to your hotel. We want you to be safe! However, please plan to retrieve your car from the venue in the morning. Option 2: If you are staying at or near the following hotels or B&Bs, we have a large shuttle bus that will pick up wedding guests according to the below schedule, which will be strictly observed. The same shuttle will return guests to these locations at the end of the wedding: 3:00 PM - La Quinta Inn & Suites, Winchester 3:20 PM - L'Auberge Provencale, Boyce 3:35 PM - Ashby Inn, Paris 4:00 PM - Welbourne B&B, Middleburg PLEASE NOTE THAT UBER DOES NOT RELIABLY SERVICE THE AREA WHERE OUR VENUE IS LOCATED. YOU SHOULD NOT PLAN ON UBER AS YOUR MODE OF TRANSPORTATION.

Question

Are there any COVID restrictions?

Answer

Our venue is requiring that all guests obtain a negative COVID test within 72 hours of our event. You can get a free test at your local CVS or Walgreens - just type in your zip code and testing locations will appear: CVS: https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/covid-19-testing Walgreens: https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/covid19/testing?ban=covid_vanity_testing Another option is a rapid at home test which can be found at CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding venue is not well suited for children. However, children are welcome at the Friday welcome reception. We hope you can take this weekend as an opportunity for an adults-only getaway! If you prefer to travel to Virginia with your children, we have a few trusted, local babysitters we can recommend. Just let us know and we'd be happy to help set you up!

Question

What if I have special dietary requirements or allergies?

Answer

If you any special dietary needs, please let Brianna or Hunter know at least a month in advance of the reception, and we can make sure our caterer prepares something that works for you. Our salad and main course at the reception will be gluten free.

Question

Where can I rent a tuxedo?

Answer

We recommend The Black Tux, which is essentially the "Rent the Runway" of tuxedos. You can take their online survey to find your perfect fit (no tape measure required!), and the Black Tux will ship the tux of your choice to your door. If the fit is not quite right, you can request a second size within 48 hours of your original delivery, and they will ship for free so you can compare the two sizes. To return, you simply drop the tux back in its prepaid packaging within three days of the wedding. We recommend placing your rental order at least 21 days prior to the event date. This will give you time to try on your garment and check your fit in advance. Visit https://theblacktux.com/ for more information.

Question

Should I wear heels to the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be partially outdoors on grass. Therefore, we do not recommend you wear stilettos. However, block heels should be fine. You may wish to avoid wearing any type of heel susceptible to grass stains.

Question

Will there be an open bar at the wedding?

Answer

Yes!

For all the days along the way
