COVID-19 Related Information

We will continue to update this as we find out more information. CANADA: Currently, no pre-arrival COVID testing is required for fully vaccinated traveler's coming into Canada. However, all traveler's into Canada need to download the ArriveCAN app and complete an application in the 72 hours prior to their border crossing. Non-fully vaccinated travel's are subject to pre-arrival testing and quarantine on arrival, and may also be denied entry at the border. https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid USA: Currently, all traveler's into the US need to show proof of a negative rapid COVID-19 test, taken no more than 1 day prior to their entrance into the US. How do I RSVP?

Once you receive your invitation, please email bhavikandhinal@gmail.com with the name (first and last) of each guest attending each event that you are invited to.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Please see the Travel section for more details (some hotel codes have now expired). You can also book any other hotel near the venue, though we won't have any discount/hotel codes for those.

Can I bring a date and are kids welcome?
Answer
We would like this to be a special event for everyone and your time off as well, so we respectfully ask that only the invited guests and number attend. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact Bhavik or Hinal.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
You can wear semi-formal or formal clothing for the wedding and reception. You can also wear any Indian clothing (ex. lengha, sherwani, kurta, anarkali, sari) to either event.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There will be ample parking for both the wedding and reception ceremonies.

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The barat prior to the wedding ceremony will be taking place outside in the parking lot. The actual wedding ceremony and entire reception ceremony will be taking place indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive for the wedding between 9-930AM on 6/17/2022 (grooms side will meet outside in the parking lot and brides side will meet inside the venue). Please arrive for the reception by 6PM on 6/18/2022 at the start of the cocktail hour, as the ceremony will begin at 7PM sharp.

What is the wedding day itinerary (June 17, 2022)?
Answer
The wedding events will start at 9AM and last until around 1230PM. After this, lunch will be provided and pictures can be taken with the bride and groom at this time. The lunch and ceremony will end around 230PM.

What is the reception day itinerary (June 18 2022)?
Answer
Cocktail hour will begin at 6PM, followed by the reception ceremony at 7PM. This will last until around 1030PM, followed by dancing until 1AM.

Do you have a gift registry?
Answer
While we appreciate the thought and love that goes into buying off a registry, we will need to consider logistics of taking gifts over the border and Hinal's move. We are currently requesting no boxed gifts and there will be an envelope box at the wedding and reception ceremony.

Can I post pictures from the events on social media?
Answer
Yes, we encourage guests to take as many pictures as they would like and post them to their social media. Please post the photos with our wedding hashtag: #HinalWedsBhavik
