He travelled 521 miles (838km). She travelled 28 miles (44km). If that doesn't say it all, I don't know what does. The date started out at the Rogers Center, where he took her to her first baseball game ever. They were so lost in conversation that they barely watched the game. After that, she took him to her favorite taco place (Wilbur), where after eating way too many tacos, they visited various rooftop patios. They ended their night at The Porch, where they enjoyed the beautiful Toronto views (and she ignored various escape calls from her friends/family). Time flew by and little did they know that the date ended up lasting 11 hours.

This time she crossed countries, and her reward was a perfect Valentines weekend. He picked her up from the airport and took her to the most romantic lunch he could think of, Chik-fil-A. From there they drove into the beautiful White Mountains and to the Omni Mount Washington Resort. They took in the breathtaking winter views, while going on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride. The highlight of the weekend was getting to visit the NH Ice Castles, where in typical Hinal fashion, a photo shoot had to be performed. Beautiful gifts were exchanged, amazing meals and drinks were had, and it was an experience to remember.

Due to COVID, seven months had passed since they saw each other, but eventually September rolled around and it was already time for their first anniversary. She returned to NH and this time they explored beautiful Portsmouth, NH. The day started with brunch at The Friendly Toast, followed by a wine tasting at La Belle Winery. They walked around the city, doing some shopping, and stopping for appetizers and drinks where they could. The evening rolled around, and he took her for a stunning sunset cruise along the harbor followed by another rooftop experience. The following day, he took her for another first, a true Hibachi experience at one of his favorite restaurants. Despite being apart for so long, everything flowed smoothly as if they had been with each other the whole time.

As you can see by now, September and February are the important months in our relationship, so its only fitting that the proposal happened then as well. Hinal came to Dover, thinking this would just be another perfect Valentines weekend like the year before. Bhavik had even bigger plans, though he had to throw her off the scent first. Valentine's started with a lovely setup of flowers, gifts and decorations at the apartment. This was followed by Bhavik cooking her favorite meal at home (Fajita Pasta) with some beautifully created cocktails. No question was popped. A few days later, he told her he wanted to take some dressed up Valentines pictures just like the year before. They got ready and went to Stratham Hill Park, where they started by taking photos along the snow covered ground. They eventually made their way up to the top of the Fire Tower, where Bhavik had Hinal look out into the distance. He took a step back, and dropped onto one knee. It took her a while to figure out no photo was coming, so she finally turned around, saw him and broke into tears. Luckily, she said YES, or else it would have been an awkward walk down to the ground. They got home, where beautiful gold and white decorations were set up and they let everyone they cared about know. The rest is history.
