We are Getting Married!!!

Working in the construction industry isn't the most glamorous of fields. However, this love story will make you think there are some diamonds in the rough. The girly girl Beverly found herself as a new safety manager for a new hospital in Crown Point, Indiana. A gentleman there every morning would perform "Stretch & Flex" for the job site, with the worst RBF (Resting Bitch Face) that Beverly had ever seen. Beverly thought very little of it like most guys on the job site. He probably had family or kids. Time passed, and Beverly found herself a new friend on the job site to whom she would complain about her guy troubles, Spanky. One day, Spanky suggested that Beverly should go out with Storm. To which she first replied, "Who is that?" Spanky responded, "You know Storm Stretch and Flex," Beverly "That guy looks like he hates his life." Beverly did not think any more about it until she found herself in the concrete trailer one day, and someone else was sitting there as well Storm. Storm hit her with the most charming smile and introduced himself to her, and Beverly was filled with butterflies. You might have said it was love at first site. Beverly started to find ways to talk to Storm. "You look like you shop at Amazon." Another time, on a windy day, "How are we feeling about the wind?" to which the men laughed at her. Finally, one day, Storm looked at Beverly and said, "Beverly, you are not amusing to me. I am trying to get my work done". Beverly thought Challange accepted. Knowing she would have to act fast because Storm would be moving to Chicago for the next job, Beverly slid into the Instagram DM (direct message) with wine encouragement. "Would you like to grab a drink sometime?". He responded, "How about Saturday?" The two met at Stacks Bar and Grill on December 10th, 2022. The rest became their beautiful love story. Since meeting, they have only spent one night apart and have had a year full of unconditional love and adventures.

It did not take long for the couple to know they were meant for each other. Both Storm and Beverly are Aries, and they find their need for constant excitement, which helps you create some sense for their crazy love. Storm quickly had to decide whether or not to move to Chicago for the next job or to commute each day. Storm knew spending time with Beverly was worth every second he could get with her. Although the daily commute caused immense headaches, the reward was a home-cooked meal and a kiss. The couple moved in together realistically two days after the first date, and two weeks later, they decided that Beverly's one-bedroom apartment was a little cramped. On New Year's Eve 2022, the couple's offer was accepted on a new home one street from where Beverly grew up in Aberdeen. The talk about their future was something the couple found themselves giggling about and feeling like they were on cloud nine. Soon, Storm and Beverly discussed getting married almost daily during the summer of 2023. Beverly did her best to drop the hints for rings in the only way she could by sliding into the DMs. Beverly even went ring shopping in a few different places to lay out some options for Storm. Clever but sneaky she is. A few weeks before their trip to Mackinac Island, Beverly thought this was where he would do it. She even found a bag for Martin Binder in the couple's closet, to which she resisted the argument to look. Then, the trip came and went without a ring. Talk about an awkward 6-hour car ride home. Another month passed, and Storm suggested the couple attend Stacks Bar and Grill for dinner. He took her Back to where it all started a year ago. The couple popped champagne and enjoyed the evening. Storm had suggested that they go to the rooftop bar. It was a cold, brisk night, and Beverly hated being cold. When Beverly least expected it, Storm took her by the hand and told her how much he loved her. Then Storm asked her to spend the rest of her life with him, and Beverly cried joyfully, screaming yes.

For some of the guests, the September 6th date might look different. The date of Beverly and Storm's wedding is the same date and time that Beverly's Mom and Dad said their vows on Mackinac Island, September 06, 1997. On September 6, 2024, Dr. Bewick and Mrs. Bewick will be married for 27 years. Make sure to wish them a very happy anniversary at the reception.
