Pendleton (PDT) | Walla Walla (ALW) | Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) |Boise (BOI) | Portland (PDX)

If you're flying in, the closest airports are: Pendleton (PDT) and Walla Walla (ALW), both approximately 2–2.5 hours from Joseph. Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) in Pasco, Washington, is another convenient option and is about a 3–3.5 hour drive. Rental cars are available at all three airports, though flight schedules and connections can be more limited. Boise (BOI) and Portland (PDX) are also good choices, just longer drives. The drive from Boise is approximately 4–4.5 hours, while Portland is about 5.5–6 hours from Wallowa County. A rental car will be needed from any of these airports. For guests traveling from out of town, we recommend arriving on Thursday if possible, as getting to Joseph can take a full day of travel.
