Wallowa County has been a special place to Cam’s family for generations. His dad grew up in Enterprise, and his grandfather, Irv Nuss, served as mayor and ran a local service station with his wife, Louise. We’ve always loved this part of Oregon for its quiet beauty, strong sense of community, and the feeling of being able to slow down and take it all in. There was never really a question for us about where we wanted to celebrate.
The ceremony and reception will both be outdoors on a grassy area, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for uneven ground.
Your presence is our gift. For those who have asked, we do have a house fund under "Registry".
We HIGHLY recommend turning the wedding weekend into a little getaway if you can. Visit our “Things To Do” page for some of our favorite spots + our recommended itinerary.

Yes — we highly recommend renting a car if you are flying in. There's no Uber or Lyft here. Having a car will make it much easier to get to lodging, explore the area, and enjoy the wedding weekend comfortably.
As early as possible! Summer is their busy season, and lodging in Joseph and Enterprise tends to book quickly — especially for weekends. We wanted to send save the dates early so guests have plenty of time to plan travel and secure accommodations. Please secure you accommodations as soon as you can.
Cocktail attire with a little personality — ruffles, suits, florals, linen, boots, bold summer colors, and anything you feel good dancing in. Summer days in Wallowa County are usually warm and sunny, but temperatures cool off after sunset. We recommend bringing a light jacket or extra layer for the evening.
We kindly ask that our wedding be adults-only.
Wallowa River Camp Resort is right in downtown Joseph, making it an easy walk to the bars and restaurants after the celebration.
