Jardín Allende
Situated in the middle of the city and directly in front of La Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, El Jardin is the town square. Spend time here people watching, listening to wandering mariachis and getting your bearings before exploring the streets that lead away in all directions.
Lavanda Cafe
Best Cafe in town. Enjoy their breakfast while sipping on a delicious cup of coffee. Try the Chilaquiles they are delicious. ** Try and get there early as a line quickly grows**
Chocolates y Churros San Agustín
One of the most famous spot for churros in Mexico and the best traditional hot chocolate in town! There is usually a line outside to get a table, but it's pretty fast if you just order your sweets to-go!
Mercado de Artesanías
You MUST visit while in town. Huge, vibrant market with vendors as far as the eye can see! It's the perfect place to pick up little trinkets to take home.
Museo La Esquina del Juguete popular Mexicano
Quaint museum with displays of vintage, handcrafted toys from various Mexican regions and a gift shop.
Trinitate
Trinitate is a pottery store in the heart of San Miguel de Allende with a beautiful terrace. Located in an old building dating from the seventeenth century, this place was part of the Parroquia de San Miguel de Arcángel, which today has become a representative icon of this magical city.
La Fondita
Mexican Food the way mom makes it. This restaurant is located inside the Hotel Ana Catalina. It is delicious and very affordable. Make sure to order the enchiladas :)

One of our favorite spots in the city for Mezcal!! They have a wide variety plus the staff is always fantastic.
